can a traffic police car i.e. volvo T5 driving in the other direction to yourself detect your speed and issue a NIP?

Yes, there are a lot more things they can do whilst going in the opposite direction.

alright mate thanks, i wasnt way over, if over at all as i know the speedo isnt gospel, would they not just pull me though, as I regularly see them at the side if the road with cars pulled over
