I have been notified via email to say I have won a large amount of money through microsoft lottery etc and to email my details to an agent to claim, is this genuine or a scam, has anyone else received these !prizes! I am very sceptical about all these wins sounds to good to be true!

Craft thanks for your swift reply, actually they didn't ask for bank details, just name address, phone, claim details, probably bank details come into somewhere along the line!
If anything sounds too good to be true then it is. You haven't even entered any lottery (have you?), complete scam designed to reduce your bank balance significantly.

Why not just do a search on the interent on "Microsoft Lottery" ?

Took me about 5 seconds to find this

To be honest I am surprised you even need to ASK if it is a scam.
