Can anyone help. Our 10 month old Weimaraner has just completed her first season which lasted 5-6 weeks. She has been fine for 2 weeks but has now started with a blood discharge again and is displaying all the features of being in season again. Can this happen?

Very unusual - how is she in herself? If she is looking at all poorly or feeling sorry for herself, get her to the vet, as it could be something called pyometra which is very serious if not treated quickly.
It shouldn't but she is young and her hormones may not have settlede. I WOULD see your vet.

We nearly lost our lovely boxer when she started displaying this sort of symptom - it was pyometria and it needs to be treated urgently - hopefully your dog has got somethig else as I believe pyometria is rareish. Good luck
I agree with others, see your vet, could be early signs of a pyo. Dont let you vet shrug you off by saying she is too young either. Ask for blood tests, and possibly a scan.
