honda vfr windscreen

I am thinking about fitting a flip-screen to my ' 98 ' vfr. is it worth it, i have heard good & bad reports. will the screen make a difference, like direct the wind up and over my head. i am 5' 9 in height! (thanking you in advance)

Most people tend to prefer the 'double bubble' type rather than the flip up type. These are used on race bikes and yes, they do make a difference; I had one fitted to a RF600 and its like being tucked in without having to put your chin on the tank.
