Hello all.. are there any Watchmen readers out there? I went to see the film last week and was transfixed by Dr Manhattans dangly bits. Surely they could have got the poor man some shiney blue shorts. Was this true to the original comic? Or just to justify the 18 rating. Enjoyed the film by the way.

according to my son, Dr Manhattan appears similarly endowed in the comics.
Yep he's the same in the comic so i was pleased they didn't cover him up just to save blushes. I just can't see ole Doc Manhatten caring whether the world can see his big blue one or not.
in the graphic novel his "bits" are quite a bit smaller than in the film...don't know why?
