How long will a tank of fuel last if you are stationary - ie. if you are in a long queue of non moving traffic?

HPI check is wrong, how do we change it?

this depends on the vehicles normal fuel economy, but my diesel engined golf returns 55 mpg, and if left to idle on a full tank would run for a few days.
(I have worked in my car with the engine running to keep power to my laptop and the fuel level didn't change in 6 hours)
