I live in a regular 1970s terraced house, with night storage heaters and no fireplace. However I own a beautiful cast iron wood burning stove. I would dearly love to be able to use it. Is it possible to have a fireplace put in to a house without these facilities? (I am not loaded either). ;)

You'll need to build a chimney! However, if you can put a self contained stove against an outside wall, you could have an external steel flue pipe to vent this, instead.
