By the way, are any of you unhappy with the marking of the Lincs Air Ambulance jobs quiz. There is no leeway again ie I put plain clothes policeman and it should have been detective; pharmacist and it should have been chemist; tax inspector and it should have been income tax officer; telephone operator and it should have been telephonist. There are several unhappy people in my area that I know of. Perhaps we are all jealous that Mr White of Tattershall has won the �50 YET AGAIN! lol

Based on what you say flopsy, it sounds unfair, particularly tax inspector not accepted for income tax officer. Have you put your views to the puzzle setters?

Grasscarp, I gather the setter has had many letters, calls and "face to face" questions about his marking over the years but nothing has changed - think I shall have to revert to putting more than one variation of the answer and risk being called a cheat again by certain members of AB.

Thanks Slaney for actually giving a clue rather than the answer, I will get to work on it asap.
