Okay, so the script is still as corny as ever, and the plotlines manage to get more ridiculous each week, but isn't that what Doctor Who is about? I've never been really interested in most of the Who series - I was only four when the last one was cancelled - but I did enjoy watching ancient repeats of the first series, and the film which most Who fans seem to try to deny all knowledge of.
I quite like this new series - with the exception of Billie Piper's accent. Horrible.
