Old village of Strelley,Notts.Relation to a Roman road?

If anyone local to Nottinghamshire could cast some light on whether or not a roman road runs through the old village of Strelley on what is now the main street i would be more than grateful if you could let me know.

Don't know were the road actually ran but there must have been one near by
