Hi,

A quick question about germination of seed. I have collected seed pods from a muture adult plant, removed the seed from the pods and allowed them to dry out naturally. First question. Is that the correct way to do it?. The second is. Will the seeds germinate straight away if sown this year?

Thanks Nick

Most seeds can be dried but a few have to be planted 'fresh'.  Fatsia seeds are avaliable commercially so I presume they are the former.  Only one way to find out, plant.  Should germinate this year but can be erratic.  Good luck.
In my experience as a "professional "gardener fatsia seeds germinate very well naturally.
