The Metro today said that yesterday's date was unusual because 3/3/09 is one of only three days this century where the square of the first two figures is equal to the year. But what about 1/1/01, 2/2/04, 4/4/16, 5/5/25, 6/6/36, 7/7/49, 8/8/64, 9/9/81. All those years fall in this century.
