Parking Fine

i have received a fine from parking co, at a retail park.
i know i did not stay there for 5 hours as stated by the parking co.
i cannot prove this.
photos supplied of contravention is not clear so the no. could be cloned.
what can i do to fight this as it is so unfair?

If you where shopping at the retail park do you have a receipt from one of the stores with the time/date/ if you are sure of your facts use the receipt as proof. Good Luck.
Did you leave and return? That sometimes causes a problem with these camera based sytems, as it doesn't know you left for a while.

Personally I would appeal, and if they refuse I would tell them where they could stick their fine.
Does the ticket have the words "Civil Parking Charge Notice" on it? If so, DO NOT follow the advice on the back which is to send your payment and your letter of appeal together. Your appeal will be denied and you'll never see your money again.
These firms are the scum of the earth. I've been battiling with one since last November and I will pay their ticket when hell freezes over. They are operated by private firms and are nothing to do with the police or the council.
If you've done nothing srong, then DON'T PAY IT!
