..family of 3 (2 adults, child age 5)..would like a holiday somewhere warm-with their own pool, which I was thinking of a villa based holiday-ideally Septemeber kind of time?..places, companies other suggestions welcome please!

sardinia is often overlooked but it really is such a beautiful and clean place.  I've only been to the north but i would recommend it to all ages.  Temperature in sept will be perfect as mid sumer is unbearable!
