A local rag in the area I live has reported the case of a moron who deliberately shot his pet dog, as a result of which the dog, although recovered, had to have an eye removed.
The report states that the moron shot his dog because he, the moron, was play-fighting boisterously with a young boy and the dog became agitated. Despite warnings from his (now ex)partner(the boy's mother), the moron persisted in his boisterous play-fighting with the lad and, as a result, the dog, a Staffie, leapt up and bit the moron who then grabbed an air pistol and goaded the dog before shooting it in the eye. This happened in a house, so the dog had no chance to escape.
The moron has been banned for 2 years from keeping animals, fined 1200, ordered to pay 1000 costs and a 15 victim surcharge(Who's that for? The poor Staffie?)

He should have been banned from keeping animals for life, and then locked up and the key thrown away. How easily could he have turned on the child or its mother, doesn't bear thinking about.
pity the mother didnt take the gun and shoot him
I think I would have done without a doubt!!
