Does anyone know where I can get Agar Agar in the West Sussex area (or maybe by post elsewhere)? It's a gelatine substitute made from seaweed. I've tried supermarkets, health food shops, internet - all to no avail. Maybe a more specialist shop? Thanks for any help.

Thanks for your help and good tip! Hope to get some results now.
You should be able to get Vege-Gel (made by Supercook) on the cake making shelves in your nearest large supermarket, along with the baking powders, cream of tartar and leaf gelatine (which is made from animal bones and thus not for us veggies).

I've found an interesting link which describes all the different gelatine substitutes - http://www.vegsoc.org/info/gelling.html
