Recently I posted a query regarding us severe hay fever sufferers and if anybody had any suggestions.  I was given quite a few, one of which I have now tried and tested!!  They are homoeopathic remedy called New Era (it is for hayfever and allergic rhinitis).  I have to say I've been taken in for a couple of weeks and so far I've not had one hayfever attack!!!  I've been a chronic sufferer for nearly 20 odd years and I cannot say for sure whether it is this product or not or whether it's just going to be an "easier" year but I have NEVER had a year when I have not suffered.  I usually start off in as early as Feb but always by March I'm feeling pretty ill and by mid summer I am so ill it's unbelieveable - last year was really bad.  I digress - I just wanted to put a post here for other sufferers to give this a go.  After all, it's homoeopathic and has no side effects whatsoever and can be used by anybody of any age.  I ordered mine from the web site of an excellent UK based company called www.goodnessdirect.co.uk - free delivery too and it arrived with 48hrs very well packed!  I'd be interested to know if anybody else has had any luck with this product too. I don't remember who recommended it - but I'm glad they did and I'd like to thank that person and Answerbank for allowing us the opportunity to help each other!!

Hi ive used the new era for as long as i can remember for sickness, i also used to be given them for when i had toothache.  They seem to really work whether its a placebo effect or not i dont know.  They sell the whole range at boots and tescos

a work colleague recommended these to me several years ago and they were excellent, in fact i now only suffer very mild symptoms. I got them from a health food stall on my local market.

Thank you littlefoot and toecrusher (are you related?? LOL!!!) that's really good to hear - I do wonder if it is a placebo effect too because when I look at the ingredients - there doesn't seem to be anything specific in it  - but hey who cares it works!!!!  Interesting to know you can get it for other symptoms too!!  Just wish I'd discovered many years ago! I didnt' know it was at Tesco's either!  Will have to look properly next time I go.  Thanks for your comments!

my husband started using this two years ago and his hayfever is now under control ..it is really good stuff..as my husband had suffered for 28 years with his and his life was a misery everytime pollen appeared..and mine i might add as he used to do his dieing act..now he rarely gets a sniffle..

hey i dont know if they sell them at all tescos- i shop in one of the larger ones but they definatly sell them there and they do them for loads of stuff-cant think of all of them of the top of my head but i know they do them for period pains too!

Oh, I'm a chronic sufferer and sad to say I tried the New Era tablets a few years ago and they didn't do a thing for me.  Back to the steroids for me I think.
