Every time I pick up either of my phones broadband drops out. This has only happened recently. I have tried changing filters without any improvement. no cabling has been altered. Any Ideas out there.

This happens to me too but only with the phone downstairs! Never worked out why and always have to unplug the hub to make sure I can get back online. Strange...
Wonder if anyone out there can help?
Can you get in contact with your broadband provider and ask to have your line checked, or you could also unplug your existing phones and borrow another one to see if this problem still exists or it could even be the main phone socket coming in to your house as mine packed up a few weeks ago after being there for about 10 years....
If you unplug All your phone sockets and leave for 15mins it should "clear any fault" at the Exchange end, then reconnect if fault is still there the fault is your end Dodgy filter or Wiring perhaps!
