Kyrenia is lovely.Old Harbour plenty of places to eat. We stayed at the Bellapais Monastery Village Hotel. It is up a hill away from the town and we found it a lovely peaceful hotel. There is a main hotel but lots of mini villas in the grounds. Best thing is to Google and look for yourself. No good for anyone with disability's as it is set on a hillside. We just had B&B as we liked eating at different places but we did have a few evening meals there. Food very good.Willgo again.

Thanks for that. Who did you book with?
Not been there myself, but I've heard very good reports of The Hideaway near Kyrenia, which indeed has a pretty little harbour. I've had a meal at the Bellapais Village and agree it's a very pleasant, peaceful place. Not stayed there either, as I live in Cyprus and tend to nip over the border into the North for a day out rather than going for a holiday! Anatolian Sky specialise in N Cyprus.
Hi again puzzled. We booked through our local small travel agent and went with Mosaic Holidays. It was 4 years ago but ive checked on google and they are still in business.
We were well looked after on arrival at the airport and again on return journey. No herding on big coaches like some of the operators and going all round kyrenia first.
The only thing you should be aware of is that there is a compulsory stop at Istanbul or another Turkish airport before flying on the Ercan airport in North Cyprus. It is a political thing still going on. We did not have to get off the plane going out and soon moved on but coming back we had to get off for refuelling which was a pain.I believe some operators now fly into Larnaca airport and then bus in to N Cyprus but even that is a long journey. But on arrival it is so worth it. Bellapais hotel is truly lovely if you want a peaceful holiday their other hotel Oscars down in the town is more noisy with a casino etc but we called in and decided we had the best place for us. I hope I have been of help to you.
Best wishes Pat.
Hi.

I have been to Cyprus twice to Coral bay & it is so nice.
The beach is better than the one I went to in Jamaica!
