Trying to eject a house spider from the house I popped it into a glass and dropped it out of the window.

Returning to the scene I noticed a grissley dismembered spider leg at the point of transfer into the glass.

Conscience stricken I need to know if pal . Spid. will grow a replacement leg, or should I have smashed his head in before I dropped him from the window as a humane afterthought to the dismemberment? (1st floor)???

Phew!  I've worried about that too.

I've also found that dropping the glass with the spider doesn't do it much good!!

Two stars....mmm...wonder if I can grow another one?
