This was on tv today.
Please what`s the name of the background music when Bill takes the "dog" for a walk?

Almost certain it isn't either Farnon or Anderson but you're VERY much on the right track; it's almost certainly a piece of 'library' or 'production' music.
What is worse, I'm almost certain I've actually got this somewhere on a CD but it would mean a lot of searching because, as you've found, it's one of those pieces of music you know, but can't put a name to.

If I find out the title, I'll post it here!
