Does anyone know where you can purchase the 'H' and 'C' studs that sit into the top of water taps to denote hot and cold? My kids have managed to prise them out and plop them down the plughole! Bless their little cottonsocks!!! An internet site could be useful.

nip intp b&q go to their display bathrooms and pop their's off
Maybe they might be stuck in the u-bend? Might be worth a look.
Unless you know the name of the manufacturers of the taps it's unlikely you'll get replacements that fit. Brum Lady's suggestion is your best bet.

Thanks for your suggestions - done the ubend bit with no success. I've been to B & Q to ASK if they have replacements, but, stevec000, they might be seeing me back their again this weekend!........
if they have left a little 'well' - my friend used blue and red nail varnish and coloured them in, she put lots in to fill the gap
I`m sure I`ve seen the whole tops for sale which replace old ones. Look in Wikes, B&Q, or any plumming supply shops. You don`t need to buy the whole tap.

Thanks for these further replies. B & Q, Homebase, etc. and many other smaller plumbing outlets certainly don't stock them because I've tried, but joko's suggestion has given me an idea about coloured buttons and paint. Thanks again.
