I have a 2005 Fiesta. The drivers electric window stopped working today. The motor still operates when the button is pressed but the window won't move.

It will lower and raise by hand if pushed and pulled!

Can anybody offer a way to fix it?

Either the cable has snapped or its come off the internal guide.
TWR is rite. Fixing can be simple depending on where the cable is broken. if its the end of the cable (head) that let loose then all u need is a small piece of metal thats the same size of the old or a bit bigger would do jus fine. u then have to drill a hole thru the metal to allow the cable to pass thru. u then have to pound the metal to hold the cable tight. this is what i do all the time and if done rite this is jus as good as a new cable for little or nothing on ur pocket.
