Baby moving after exercise

I restarted exercising on Monday and have used the gym 3 times. I haven't exercised since discovering I was pregnant, as I was advised not to, until now. I last exercised about 4 months go.

Yesterday, I did a weights routine and ever since, I have been feeling strange popping sensations. I presume it's baby moving. Up until now, I've not really felt anything.

Would there be any reason why my baby should suddenly become so active, since exercising? He was moving around alot last night and also since my exercise session this afternoon. Do you think perhaps he didn't like it too much?

I cant really help u much on that 1 but ive always been into my exercises and have carried on doing them through most of my pregnancy, apart from when i havent felt up to it.
I feel baby move alot, especially when ive been exercising.
I dont do anything too strenuous, cut alot of things out, like sit ups etc. My midwife told me exercise is good for the baby
maybe hes just moved in last couple of days and is now kicking where you can feel it. Hes got lots of space to float about at the moment so may have been kicking your back.

So is the the first kicking youve felt? the first feel like little pops / bubbles, just you wait until you can see baby pushing his feet over to one side of your belly, you certainly feel them lol

Thanks Shaunzy and Red. I've been taking my routine easy, but yes, it is the first definite, regular movement I've felt.

Perhaps the baby mirrors the mother's activity. Normally, I'm like a Sloth and just lie around all day, so perhaps this sudden burst of activity has gee'd him up.
it might have been the faster heartbeat and blood flow that perked him up, but i reckon its just the time for you to be feeling the movemtns.
Dont be concerned if you do feel him again for a day or two, it takes a while to be firm and regular enough for you to feel it every day.
how far gone are u velvetee?

22 weeks today Shaunzy.

I did consider too Red, that if my heartrate rises, then baby's would too, so perhaps thats the reason he's more lively than usual.

I can't say the feeling of the movements is pleasant, feels like someone tapping in there. Do any of the kicks later in pregnancy become painful?
sometimes i feel like baby is kicking the hell outa me lol wouldnt say its painfull but can be very uncomfortable at times. Annoying when your trying to sleep. i feel him turning around and can see it too, looks weird when u see 1 side of your stomach go down and another lump up (if u get me) lol i feel him far up now too, just under where my boobs are
im 28 weeks plus and its my 1st so dont really know if the kicks will be painfull later on in pregnancy though, i hope not lol
not painful, unless they are stuck uder your ribs lol

they do get very strange though and when they spin its uncomfortable.
I think this is probably just a coincidence. At 22 weeks it is normal to feel kicking a lot more clearly. As long as you don't over do it, exercising will do you the world of good and help build up your fitness for labour!!
Maybe the babies just joining in!
