Oh come on. Like I said, she is an intelligent woman. She knows it has racist overtones now. Stop trying to make excuses for her.

i'm simply expressing my point of view.
NO we shouldn't. Why the hell would anyone identify themselves with something that looks so ridiculous. Im sure that black people would find such a ban patronising and insulting!
There were plenty of things in the sixties and seventies that make anyone cringe these days. TV Sitcoms Love Thy Neighbour and Mind Your Language are just two.
