I am a lesbian and was seeing a lovely woman for some time but she then finished with me saying she was not gay. I want to build a friendship with her but don't know if I am still in with a chance of romance if she reconciles herself with her sexuality. What could I give her on Valentines to show that I love her and will wait but that won't seem like harassment? Or should I just accept that it's over....

maybe its a good idea to send her a friendship card so she knows you are thinking of her but it sounds like she is very confused so you dont want to put too much pressure on her.
I am sure you know how hard it can be realising your sexuality so just make sure you are there for her, and let her make her own mind up.
Sorry to hear of your break-up Belfast, and I hope that you can still remain friendly with your ex. I think a Valentine card'd be a bit much for her to handle, but as elf-angel said, you could buy an open friendship card and write your own words in it - nothing too full-on, but just asking her to be your friend.
If you give her some space, and don't "stalk" her, then, as in any relationship, you may find that she's willing to meet up with you sometimes (for a meal, drink, etc.), but on the romantic scale, I'd back off a bit and wait to se how she responds. Give her some space, and try and get out and about yourself, so as not to dwell on what's happened. Best of luck to you.
not a Valentine's card or gift, they're for lovers or would-be lovers, so it'd be like saying 'Come on, I'm still waiting!' (Or worse still, 'I'm stalking you.') A friendship card sometime in the middle of the month - possibly not the 14th - shouldn't hurt, though.

Remember it may be that she has reconciled herself with her sexuality and she's straight.
how about just a big night out for all your singe mates on vday! no pressure just a lot of mates having a laugh with no stings!

if you feel you need to gife her something then its clear you really do need to give her; and YOU space from each other.

Get on with life and if she wants you let her chase you
