Does anybody know how crossword judges regard corrections?

Hi Groomsport - to the best of my knowledge, if you've been careful with your application of Tipp-Ex & the resultant corrected answer is entirely legible, then your entry will be accepted.

There was a posting on here the other month of a tipex winner.The winner told us on here that they had used tipex on the crossword and the lucky person had won.

There may be cases where they publish T&C to the effect of no alterations, but generally it shouild be OK if your answer is obvious
