Further back than Starsky & Hutch, (posted by jayzeeburn below).................
I was too young to go to the rollers concert & I've never forgiven my parents for that!
But my Mum made up for it by trimming everything I wore with tartan.
God how I loved them!!!!!!

my era MWB.

yes when they sang bye bye baby, it was just for me. thats what I used to think.
I loved them too MWB. Eric used to be my fave. I too was just on the young side but I was in their fan club at the ripe old age of 7. In fact they had a greatest hits cd come out a couple of years ago which I've got and sing very loudly to, to the rest of my family's annoyance.

i only met them once when they had just had the one hit, their record company made them tour the record shops to promote their new single, they were so shy and confused, just babes they were, and i was 19, lol the counter nearly collapsed on top of us

I saw, about 20 years ago, a very soft porn movie with Eric in it!!!
They were just playing strip poker in the vid.

How sad to have to sink that low for money.
Bez want to see My Shang a Lang?lol
but..... Eric was my favourite!
I saw them perform at Mallory Park in the 70's. I love some of their lesser-known stuff. Particularly Shangai'd in Love. Brilliant song.

And Les came here to NZ only last year as NZ telly had a series about yesterdays.
There was a group of ladies who had the only NZ Bay City Rollers fan club but didn't get the opportunity to meet the guys when they toured here.
So the telly people got the ladies to recall the mania, then brought out ole Les. He was lovely about it all & the ladies were quite chuffed.

I think we were all tw@ts at that age.

We THOUGHT we were the bees knees though.
Well that was the 70's for you though wasn't it? Not like the 80's when we all looked really sensible with frilly shirts and a big white stripe across our noses singing 'Prince Charming'!
Hey nono, liking the BCRs is our excuse for being tw@ts. What's your excuse for being one?

[:o)
