Can anyone suggest a reasonably good digital radio to buy for a student accomodation? We want one for our kitchen but since we have people coming in and out a lot we don't want to waste money if it gets broken.

Any suggestions?

Thanks! I'll see what they have.
It's generally acknowledged that an FM radio will often give better listening quality than a DAB radio, not only in low signal areas, but because the low bit rate transmissions of many DAB stations give a poorer result compared to FM.
Just buy a cheap 20 from ASDA and wrap it in bubble wrap to stop your studenty mates from breaking it!

PS: Why are you wasting 20 worth of student beer money on a poxy radio?!!?!?

You don't understand how much better listening to music is while your cooking is - I'm dying of bordem otherwise!! I'd give up a couple of drinks for this any day.

Thanks again!
