Radio Reception in 57 plate focus

hi,

I cannot pick up a MW radio reception on my focus and my FM reception is not great. Has anyone else had this problem or is there anything I can do to get a better reception.

Check your aerial connections Will.

My brother drives an astra, and when the 2 cars are parked next to each other on our drive his car picks up MW perfectly and the reception in my car is useless.

I have had the aerial off and cleaned the connection but it makes no difference.
