i think the banks are taking the **** out of us another 6 mouth into we get our money back.. what a joke

Well if you didn't keep going overdrawn in the first place you would never have incurred any charges now would you.
It's not the banks - the Court of Appeal are making their decisions, as is the OFT. The FSA can't really do anything until this has been concluded.

You was spending money that wasn't yours, fully aware of the penalties and charges for doing so.

What would you have done had the bank not allowed you to spend its money without permission?
........... and finally don't bank on getting your money back. Equitable Life policyholders have been waiting 8 years and even after a damning report by the Ombudsman regarding the performance of the FSA (the Government's department that is supposed to monitor such companies to provide a level of protection against wrongdoing) at monitoring, the Government is still dragging its heels over compensating those who lost out. Its current offer is a means-testing handout to those worse impacted only.

Soundbites that make voters feel that something is being done are far easier to deliver than solutions.
