My Cat is either caring or trying to kill me? Whils PG

I am now 37some weeks PG. My female cat is obsessed with me. Even just now I was in the bath she climbed on to the laundry bin so she could see me over the top. She walks by my ankles all they time. She constantly talks to me and as soon as I sit or lay down she's right up nx to me. Anyone else had or having this. I love that shes affectionate but I cant turn round without her being there.!!! Have a daughter already...but dont remeber the cat being like this affectionate. Its really strange.

Mine's the same! She follows me round constantly and if i'm lying down, she sits on my tummy like she's trying to hatch me! She did the same when I was pregnant with baby Picky no 1, but neither of the 2 cats bothered with him at all once he was born. Good luck with the impending arrival!

I think she was sense something. If she sits on or near you, she was probably hear babys heartbeat. I think its quite normal.

our male cat who previous to pregnancy really didnt like me much might i add went very odd when i was pregnant and all he wanted to do was sit on my bump or be as close to me as he could. quite sweet actually and when our daughter was born he loved being close to her. she doesnt like him much now but he was kind off the same when i was preg with our son, not as much tho i think he sensed the difference between a girl and boy!

I have two kittens. One just wants to do her own thing and the other is constantly with me. If I lay down, she is there, if I go to the toilet, she sits outside the door, and she follows me wherever I go to the point of sitting by the front door and not letting me out!
