there is also a sure start maternity grant availible. Its not publicised but i claimed mine, its about �500

hi my baby is due on 29th April. I have just applied and sent my form off for my �190 grant, which u are entitled to at 25 weeks pregnant and after. i got the form from my midwife.
i should also be entitled to �500 but cannot apply for that until im 29weeks pregnant and after. Im 26 weeks plus now x

My sis in law was not entitled because her ECD is 1st April which is before new financial year begins (around 5/6th)
