Depending on the age of your boys, this is a really good book to share with them.

If you are really struggling , try your local branch of Cruse, they sometimes have children's counsellors and will be able to offer advice to you.
Macmillan nurses also have specialist kids workers, if appropriate.
Take care
My boys were quite young when an elderly relative passed away, but they'd been close to her and were very upset when she died. One night, I took them upstairs to look out at the stars. I told them that they were shining so brightly because grandma was now living up there. I said she could see them, and she was very happy in her new home. If they wanted her to see them smiling again, all they had to do was look up at the biggest and brightest star, and wave to her, and grandma'd twinkle back. Of course - that's what they saw, and they were fine after that. They were only about 3 and 4 at the time though!
What a lovely thing to do, Ice Maiden. I don't think that you could have nicer advice than that, ddaisy.
thats so sad, when my kids were small and lost their great nan after the funeral i got them to write her a message tied them to a helim balloon and said she was sat on her star waiting to catch them
