i have a4 yr old cherry tree (morello) i need to move please can anyone tell me the best time

The best time to move it is Autumn, remember to get a good rootball as you dig it out and plenty of water.  If you need to move it now you still can but as I said get as much root out as you can and then water every day to settle it in.
