Has anybody had trouble updating the free avg? I have been trying for weeks and all I get is the connection failed.

some computer parasites are able to block security tools and internet connection. since avg is better at fighting viruses than fighting other infections, there's a huge possibility that your computer is infected. try to re-install the program and if that doesn't help, get an anti-spyware.

Personally I've had so many problems with AVG & updates since version 8 came out I've given up & use Avast! now . Just as good .
