Where can I obtain one on the 'cheap' i have someone to fit it (CORGI registered) but do B&Q sell them? I have found one on Ebay but I am tired of bidding for the damn thing, any other places I could try ?
Thank you

Try phoning the Vaillant sales department on 01634 292310. (By buying direct from the manufacturer you might cut out the 'middle man's' profit). Alternatively, email them here:

Absolutely no chance of a DIY-shed selling this sort of component and anyway B&Q aren't cheap for plumbing components - just convenient.
If Chris' idea doesn't work, phone you local plumbers' merchant with the enquiry. They don't bite general members of the public.
no tradesman worth his salt would ever buy his supplies from b&q, they charge a fortune compared to a trade supplier.

can't the corgi engineer you have order you the part? he should know where to get one and he would get a trade discount.

you could try spares and controls in kings norton birmingham which is my local supplier, not sure if they do mail order though. the main supplier of boiler parts is time and temperature who are also known as hrp and i think parts centre.
