my dog alos eats her own poo, groce! make sure you feed her at night, get up early and let her out ion the garden on a lead and ull her bck once shes done a poo/wee etc.. how old is she?
It's very common. She probably hasn't been playing with it, but actually eating it. It is full of protein. As laurentwink says, try to make sure she has poo'd last thing at night to stop her doing it at night indoors.
It is also her way of trying to clear up after herself, so don't be too hard on her. Not a reason for giving her up.
It maybe that she isn't getting anough nutrients in her meals? It could be to do with her diet. My parents dogs went through a stage of eating rabbit poo.......ewwwww
My old dog used to do a poo when we were out for a walk and then ROLL in it!!
Fox poo is worse Lakitu ....believe me!!!
Stickier? LOL

I used to hate having to walk back through the village with him covered in poo. I'd throw him straight into the shower and give him a lecture from start tuntil I had done drying him LOL.

Bless his heart, I adored him regardless.
And much much smellier!

Bless them they look at you as if to say,

"But i smell adorable now....and now you've washed it off I'm going to have to go and do it again now...)

(Big puppy eyes, the works)
At least rabbits' poo comes from vegetarians - no nasty stink involved!!

One of my dog is often caught making for the cat litter after the cat has performed. Fortunately it has a lid on it, but the dog can get his head in. Nothing nicer than a tasty bit of cat poo as far as he is concerned!!!
Oh yes I forgot about that lovely habit. Just remember never to let the dog lick your face again!

Hope you get it sorted tatu
Awww, he really did have his puppy eyes on and his ear back (I wasn't even yelling, just lecturing!), he never failed to melt my heart x
how old is the dog? why isn't it house-trained?

she is 5 months,,ive tried to train her but havent a clue...she does go on the newspaper though
Tatu. She will never learn if you keep leaving the newspaper down. She will always think it's the right place to go. She has been trained - to use newspaper!! Take the newspaper away and keep an eye on her. After each meal take her outside and she will usually perform. Praise her like mad and give her a small treat. She will soon learn. The sooner you get rid of that newspaper the better.
