hi when putting the wipers into the intermittent mode the front wipers do not do a full wipe they will only do about half. even if i just wash the window they will stop wherever they want to. it can take 10 attempts to get them back to bottom of window in correct place. the rear wiper works perfectly on intermittent and normal mode. ive had suggestions from its the wiper stalk to a relay to replacing the wiper motor any one who can give me an idea how to check which it is please help as this could prove very expensive as vauxhall want 160 for the motor alone. many thanks

Check the splines on the wiper motor, or wipers themselfs! are the wiper arm nuts slack? At the end on the wiper connecting arms at the motor side, the are plastic cups, the nuckle of the motor fits into these, but kept slipping out. It may be the motor, that was the cause of my friends car, motor bought off EBay Job done.

hi been and checked and all looks fine i removed the fuse box cover and tried the wipers and the relay clicks on and off for a short time not long enough for wiper to go up and down could it be this or is it the motor causing it to do this many thanks
If you can get at the connecting plug (Its in your Vision on the left side of the bulkhead) Unplug clean the contact pins put a smear of Vaseline on the contacts & replace & try, should it come down to a motor try 247 Car Spares or Ebay.
