logging off

my laptop keeps flashing :logging off: but it doesnt! i can turn it off but it reappears as soon as i switch back on.

Sometimes problems like this disappear if you simply start Windows in Safe Mode, then shut down the computer, wait 10 seconds and reboot normally.

appreciate the speedy reply,but it,s not having it......no error message showing, just the same "logging off" message. going to remove the battery for an hour or so,maybe that,ll do it. thanks again.
