I am about to buy my son a PC and would like him to be able to play his XBox (NOT 360) through the same monitor. I have seen combined monitors/tv with HDMI connection and I know the 360 can be connected but can the older XBox?

Appreciate any advice!

Many thanks in advance,
Justin

Not entirely sure, but i would doubt it.

Monitors i have seen dont have the correct connections (some may have HDMI connection, thought), but the original XBox doesnt have HDMI.

A "normal" monitor would probably just have a standard VGA connection.

Just realised the monitor/TV has scart sockets so I guess these would work ok with the XBox....fingers crossed!
