The bar I work in is part of an old chapel and apparently 8 out of the 15 barstaff working there have had some kind of encounter with the Lemon Tree ghost.  There's a bell in one of the board rooms upstairs which, when rung, summons the ghost and causes all kinds of havok.

Apparently.  I've yet to experience this, but I'm sure I'll be a believer soon.

Also, the flat I used to live in was built on a ancient indian burial ground....no, not really ^_^.    IBuilt on an old farm actually and there were all kinds of weird goings on:-  hearing voices when I was home alone, doors closing suddenly even though they weren't easy to close and hearing whispers over the dial tone when you picked up the telephone.  The latter is probably just a case of crossed phone lines, but it was pretty creepy at night.

i used to work in a residential home where there were quite afew ghosts flying around. Two were of dead residents. Once one of the staff felt as if someone was ying on her as if he was trying to sh4g her. I once heard a door slam one evening and a lid flew through the air and fell when there was no way it could have moved. These to incidents happened on the same night and scared th sh1t outta me.

When i was younger my boss (from my Saturday job) used to live on the same road as me. Her husband had cancer and was given a few weeks left to live.

I remember coming home from school on the 8th May (the same week as my birthday - so I can remember the date) and seeing him standing at the window looking out with a jaundiced face.

I found out on the Saturday 2 days later that he had died on the 8th. He was bedridden for the last few days, so there is no way hecould have been standing at the window.

I studied psychology at Uni, and did a module on parapsychology and it is quite common for people when they die to appear to other people at the same time...

Weird. Ive never forgotten that!!

At my old house we regularly had a handprint which would appear in the bath.It was a print of a right hand but on the left hand side of the bath.It was too large to be mine or the kiddies but too small to be my hubbys. We woke up one morning to find our giant picture had been taken down off the wall and gently laid against my sofa, glass side in.My youngest daughter who was 2 and a bit at the time told us about the lady who talked to her in the night and cuddled her. When getting ready in my bedrrom one day she pointed into the corner and told me that the lady was there,on my hubbys side of the bed.I showed her a photograph my hubbys mother(with a group of friends)who had died appx 5 years before she was born and she instantly pointed to her nanny and told me that was the lady.I felt ok with this but my hubby was quite uncomfy as it seemed to be his mother.I contacted a "ghostbuster"on the internet who told us that my hubby should ask his mum to carry on looking over her grandchild but to not make presence known. He did this and we never had any more experiences.I still believe if it was her that she is still about.Who knows???
