When I use hand cream my skin usually goes red and tingles for about 5 minutes so I guess I am allergic to either lanolin or glycerine which is present in most creams.I have tried nearly all of them including the ones for sensitive skin.
Anybody know of any that I could try that don't have those ingredients.

try something with oatmeal -I had an horrendous reaction to something or other and the only thing that stopped me scratching my skin off was to sponge the affected parts with a strong mixture of porrige oats in water. it really did work especially on my hands. maybe some baby product or just ordinary almond or olive oil will work - hope you come right.
You could try this one, totally organic, naural ingredients, and no glycerin and lanolin.

You can find AVEENO products (made with oatmeal) in both Boots and Superdrug.......they are excellent for all sorts of skin conditions.

thanks all. heres to an itch free new year.
Good ol Oatmeal is great for skin conditions used just on its own is best and not with the mixture of chemcials that are used to make it go in a cream.
I use http://www.innocentoils.com for all my skin care products now, having suffered a similar reaction myself a few years ago.
Heres to a happy healthy new year for your skin, whatever you decide to go for. x
