old disney compilation cd

im looking for an old cd probably released in the 80's which is a compilation of disney songs. just before the "when you wish upon a star" track there is a spoken poem which goes "here we are now, some years after - you and me and funny laughter, don't be afraid, it's only dark - soon you'll hear a meadowlark..." etc etc

It's driving me mad trying to search for it on the internet - help PLEASE !!!

I wonder if you're talking about Stay Awake, which was a compilation of Disney songs performed by various people (including Tom Waits, Yma Sumac, Ken Nordine, Ringo Starr, Natalie Merchant and many more...). Got a hunch that it might be....
