Can anyone, please, put me on the right track for the four anagrams _ I am afraid I just don't understand the instructions!

Not everybody is familiar with the Glasgow Herald so it would help if you gave us the anagrams in question

Sorry Baitress - I realise this. I was particularly aiming at someone who was doing this crossword as it is not the usual run of clues, etc.
The anagrams are four lines of verse:
first line :thin man left sheet under a Downie wet. Eh? Aye!
(1,3, 4, 4, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4) - it states letters are given in jumbled form.

2nd line: I and three others all chanting it - it''s great! (2, 3, 4, 4, 6, 1, 3, 7, 6)

If I get these two I might manage to get the other two!
These answers go round the outside of the crossword and down the middle with the rest of the crossword "normal".
