You're post about your old boy finally settling down made me smile. I used to drink with an elderly gentleman who used the phrase 'old boy' to refer to a certain intimate part of his anatomy! If he'd used the wording which you used it would have had nothing to do with pets - but probably a great deal to do with having just seen Kylie Minogue on the telly ;-)

I know some people use it for the nether regions.

Happy New Year to you, too, Theland1 - and to everyone else, too!! I've just got home from a lovely little get-together at my friends' house - wasn't going to stay long, but really enjoyed myself! The cats all think it's morning and time to go out! Mischa (bless her) is in season and hasn't stopped calling for 4 days now - she's driving us all mad. She was booked in to be spayed next week, but that's had to go on hold now!! She's desperate to go out, but I daren't let her - we'd have every ruddy tom cat in Ceredigion round!! She's only a baby anyway! Oh, well, off to bed now - take care, all. Love, K xxx
