1st shot: player makes a cannon (2 pts), pots the red (3) and goes in off the red (3) = 8 points for 1st shot
2nd shot: player makes a cannon (2), pots the opponent's cue ball (2), pots the red (3) and goes in off the red (3) = 10 points for 2nd shot

Total for 2 shots = 18 points

Thankyou RogerMelly for your answer wishing you a Happy New Year.
Funny if you're asking GFQ questions here when you aren't supposed to. Q 38.? Now everyone can get it right if RogerMelly isn't leading you up the garden path.

Thanks sprinter!
I googled a few key words as I know nothing about billiards and lo and behold I was directed to AB.
I find it as sickening as the Bluecoatersare that people are so devious.
No more prize Quizmail. I hope GFQ doesn't go the same way!
