SRS light

can anybody tell me how to turn off my srs light in the dashboard on a merc c220 I took off the airbag on the steering wheel onplugging the wire connecter and now the light stays on

Take it to a garage.

It could be somebodys life if it doesn't work properly so don't risk playing about with it yourself if you don't know what your doing, get it done by professionals.

although many systems reset themselves it often needs to be done by a dealer or a garage with the relevant software/kit .

Of course it will stay on it's telling you the airbag has a fault, it's gone missing.

No reputable garage will simply switch the warning light off as it will effect your insurance if you have an accident where it would have activated.
