Is there anyone out there who completes the Daily Mail PC. This doesn't normally give me any major problem but in to-day's Clue for 2 Down "Queen's maiden name covered up"

The logical answer would seem to be KNEE as this sounds like nee (maiden name) and KNEE which is covered up. However, reference to Queen puzzles me and I can only think that the setter has used 'Queen' for a female.

Any suggestions or confirmations would be appreciated and many thanks in anticipation

Hello Friends,

It must be the season of old age and senility not thinking about such an easy answer, those don't normally miss my eyes. I shall have to have a word withe real solver, who is of course my good lady wife.

Many thanks again
