Just made a plate of stovies,or to you english peeps corned beef hash,cooked it,had to take a portion from the non stick pan and put it in a frying pan till was well burned yum yum!!!!

Stovies in NE Scotland is made with stewed beef. I'm making a big pot for Hogmanay :o)

i'd never heard of stovies with corned beef. My mother in law made stovies witch was sausage, onion, carrots with dumplings in gravy. Mmmm
